The Cranberries formed in Limerick, Ireland in 1990 by two brothers Noel and Mike Hogan Fergal Lawler together. Dolores O'Riordan made it through the audition as a vocalist after the band's first vocalist to resign.
Their first album EVERYBODY ELSE IS doing IT, SO WHY CAN NOT WE? released in 1993 followed by the promo tour which then paved the way for them. When the tour was, MTV singles interested in them and then show them a video clip.
But only their second album NO NEED TO argue who then reap the results. The album that contains a single Zombie and Ode to My Family has achieved triple platinum in just one year. This album is the album of The Cranberries is the highest sales figures. NO NEED TO argue record sold nearly 17 million copies worldwide and won seven platinum.
The Cranberries has released six studio albums with Wake Up Smell AND THE COFFEE as the last album they released last 2001. Year 2003 yesterday, The Cranberries decided to vacuum for a while because the personnel were still busy with their solo careers of each. The Cranberries The plan will soon release an album again in 2008.
