SOULJAH
Souljah is a band that has been established Jamaican Music from 1998, when most of the personnel was in college at the University of Indonesia. In 1999 they signed with Sony Music Indonesia. Over the years, precisely in 2003 they are believed to participate compilation album "Asian Ska Foundation" produced by a Japanese label, Authority Records.

Souljah - Breaking the Roots was completed in 2005. Album with 12 songs unique to the ears of the community served by a variety of songs such as Reggae, Chill out, Traditional Ska, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and others, the album Breaking the Roots can make people surprised to hear it. It is simply and solely because of incorporation of groovy beats Dimas, gentle and powerful voice of Danar, a melodic Jamaican rap from Said, David sexy trumpet sound, soft and warm tones Renhat offerings, and of course the guitar upstroke of the Bayu, a guitarist Souljah has now resigned his position and replaced by Maulana Gema.

Four of the 12 songs is a collaborative work with artist Souljah-artists like; Soulid who appeared in "All I Know," Bad Mono in "The Day The World Turns Into Greys," Sundari Soekotjo in 'man,' "and Happy Salma in "Magenta." With the album BREAKING THE ROOTS, Souljah managed to get the award for breakthrough artist by Radio Geronimo Jakarta.

Souljah 2nd album with the title with You was released in 2007 which diikut by the release of the novel of the same title by the notion Media. The album has sold thousands of pieces that make Souljah increasingly set foot on the national music arena.

As an offering singles from 3rd album entitled MESTAKUNG Souljah, Souljah then proclaimed "Only Want to Return". A song created specifically for the theme song homecoming. MESTAKUNG album will also be released in November 2008.
